[OOC/Filter: Here's the deal. Youji intended for this post to be ladies-only, but due to a variety of factors--lack of familiarity with the device, the gender ambiguity of some names, and the weather messing with the Dreamberries--it's pretty much failed. So anyone is free to see this post (or not see it!), but if you're not a cute girl over 18, he's going to be polite, but unenthusiastic. XD]
[Youji is sitting back on his couch, looking charmingly sheepish and pleasantly cheerful.]
Hello!
I'm laid up with a broken leg, and rather bored. I don't suppose anyone could help me out...? Any recommendations are appreciated. Books, movies, snacks, art supplies, or just your sparkling conversation!

Well, it's nice to have friends here, isn't it?
You like music, then?
no subject
Oh I simply adore it!
no subject
I have the friends I started out with. They all live in Zephry Pointe, on the fifth floor.
Do you have any favorite songs?
no subject
Friends you started out with? Are you no longer friends with them?
No... no favorite. That seems terribly silly to me. Having a favorite song is like having a favorite breath of air!

[...and on that note. Excellent question. Youji knew his answer, but the others were all from before that point in time... But he maintains a smile. This is not the time to trouble cute little girls.]
Oh, no. I just mean I haven't had a chance to make new friends yet. That's why I made this post.
[...yeah, Kudou. Let's go with that.]

Would you like to be my friend Mr. Yo-gee? And how did you break your leg? Are you going to be alright?
no subject
I would be honored to be your friend, Miss Alice.
And I crashed my bike. Don't worry! I've had worse things happen to me.
no subject
And oh dear! You crashed your bicycle? [Has never seen a motorcycle in her life.] Oh how dreadifying! Those things are so terribly high! I would never be able to ride one. But I'm glad you're alright. Is someone helping to take care of you?
no subject
[That's okay, he's lying like a rug.]It was--very dreadifying, yes. [So. Sweet. Youji's about to die of diabetic shock.] So dreadifying that I think we should talk about more pleasant things!
Don't worry, my friends from home are all next door and across the hall. They came to get me when I arrived, and have been taking very good care of me.
What about your friends, Miss Alice? Do you have very many here?
no subject
[If you were all by yourself she would have insisted on taking care of you or you staying with her or something of the sort.]
Oh! Well... I have one here who... well he isn't from my world though I'm terribly fond of him. But! I've made ever so many friends here in Somarium! And of course I have Basil.
no subject
Tell me about Basil, please, Miss Alice?
no subject
no subject
Really! What a pleasant surprise. You take very good care of him, don't you?

What does he help you with?

Basil finds me maps, and gets me little lists for shopping, and he turns into the berry!
no subject
[The berry...? Oh. So it doesn't always have to be a cell phone? Strange.]
He must be a very clever bunny.
no subject
Oh yes, the cleverest bunny!
no subject
I've never met a bunny who could make shopping lists and give you maps, so he must be.
